Found a good new location for some sunset shots. Burns Beach (northern suburbs), loads of rocks on the shore line and even in the background!
There’s this old railway tunnel at John Forest NP and after walking for almost 3 hours i was pritty pumped to get some shots. What i didn’t expect was a whole class of surveying students on a public holiday with their massive theodolites blocking up the tunnel. I managed to PS them out of the background and leave my ghost like figure.
I’m a bit late but here’s some Bloodmoon shots from a couple of weeks ago, taken from King’s Park. Iv’e never seen so many photographers in one place!

Weekend at Wedge Pt P6
First attempt at some night sky photography. It’s quite tricky but i really enjoyed it, can see myself taking a lot more of these in the future.
Here’s a question You’ve just tipped your tripod over with you dslr in the watery sand and hit a rock for good measure. Then the glorious sun peaks out the clouds and creates an even better scene than your previous shots! Do you A call it a night and quickly get back home to clean your camera or B give it a quick wipe, turn it back on,get some great shots and hope for the best?
